    Carefree RV is Alberta’s favourite RV dealership located in Edmonton, AB. We sell and service all types of RV's from travel trailers to fifth wheels to luxurious class A motorhomes. We are looking for a Full-time, Permanent licensed RV Technician to join our Carefree RV team. This person would be responsible for servicing, repairing, and refurbishing all types of recreational vehicles. Having experience as a Journeyman Technician is an asset. The environment can be fast paced with tight deadlines and turn around times.

    Skills Required:

    • Have a positive attitude and excellent work ethic. • Be punctual, professional, and work as part of a team. • Work well independently and with little supervision, be self-motivated. • Take pride and produce quality work. • Keep your tools clean and organized at all times. • Perform physically demanding tasks. • Have the ability to multi-task, deal with large volumes of work and flexible in changing priorities. • Work inside/outside. • Have a valid class 5 driver’s license and clean driver abstract. • Can lift up to 50 lbs. Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Perform pre-delivery inspections. • Accurately diagnose problems on any RV. • Identify warranty issues. • Troubleshoot problems presented by customers. • Remove and re-install parts. • Service and repair all types of recreational vehicles. • Install fifth wheel and trailer hitches and wire tow vehicles. • Use computerized and electronic devices. • Answer directly to your Service Advisor or Operations Manager. • Previous experience as a RV Technician or RV Journeyman Technician is required. Carefree RV’s work environment may include: • The RV Technician works 90% of the time in the service shop. • Working off site for RV shows or trailer repairs. • Working the occasional weekend and evening, especially during the busy season of April through September.

We are looking for a Full-time, Permanent RV Walk-Thru/Orientation Specialist to join our Carefree RV team. This person would be responsible for communicating with our customers regarding their new RV purchase (New and Used inventory) and would be responsible to inform the customers to get them ready for their camping/RVing experience. This position is important, and you must take pride in your work as each happy customer is important to receive valuable information and to feel a ‘carefree’ experience. The environment can be fast paced with tight deadlines and turn around times. As an RV Walk-Thru/Orientation Specialist, you: • Have an excellent work ethic • Are reliable and self-motivated • Take pride in communicating with customers and building a memorable experience • Ability to work under pressure-both independently and as a team • Possess a genuine desire to provide outstanding customer service • Strong organizational skills and detail orientated

    Skills Required:

    Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to: • Informing and sharing RV knowledge of how their RV works; being detailed oriented to create customer confidence • Creating a lasting impression with the customer and having the ability to do a thorough walk-thru with positivity • Great knowledge of how various RVs work inside and out (including: travel trailers, fifth wheels, and gas/diesel motorhomes) • Showcasing the RV to the best of ones’ abilities and communicating to management • Previous RV knowledge and experience is an asset (1 year preferred)
