The RVDA of Alberta just awarded the 2021 Campground Grant Program Hilah Ayers Wilderness Park was one of the successful recipients. Dan Merkowsky and Gerry Haracsi called Kyle Knutson at Hilah Ayers Wilderness Park to share the good news. Needless to say, Kyle was very surprised. We are pleased to support our campground members as they do expansions at their campgrounds to accommodate more campers this summer and in future years. We wanted to share Kyle’s letter of appreciation.
I apologize if I was at a loss for words, but your phone call certainly took me by surprise. We are absolutely blown away by the news that we have been selected as the recipient of the 2021 Campground Grant Program and I honestly can’t thank you enough. It has been a challenging year to say the least, but your incredible generosity will allow us to make significant improvements to the RV resort and help meet the growing demand for serviced lots by recreational enthusiasts in this great province. We are honored to be a part of such a fantastic association that does so much for its members, so your exceptional efforts have not gone unnoticed. I would like to wish you all the best in the next chapter of your life as you step away from your role as Executive Vice President of the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association of Alberta and I want to convey my utmost gratitude for all that you have accomplished in the industry. Words cannot express how appreciative we are by this extraordinary gesture, and we will undoubtedly put the money to good use. Despite the pandemic, more and more Albertans are exploring the beauty in their own backyard and we look forward to continue sharing our little slice of paradise with guests and visitors for years to come. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
